[Important Notice] Temporary shutdown of company-operated web systems

LIXIL Corporation announces the temporary shutdown of multiple company-operated web systems to perform critical security maintenance following a newly disclosed global security vulnerability in the PHP programming language.

We sincerely apologize to our customers, business partners, and stakeholders for the inconvenience and disruption this temporary service suspension may cause.

In order to ensure maximum protection for customer and partner data, LIXIL determined that continuing to run affected systems before applying security updates posed an unacceptable risk. Consequently, we initiated an emergency suspension of impacted platforms until security updates are fully applied and verified. Systems will be brought back online sequentially as each completes verification.

As of today, no unauthorized access or compromise of customer information within LIXIL systems that are linked to this software has been detected.
We aim to restore our web systems as soon as possible. In the meantime, for urgent enquiries, please reach out directly to your known company contact or customer support hotline during business hours.

Please be vigilant against scam emails, SMS, or fraudulent communications attempting to capitalize on this incident—such as fake notifications regarding service resumption or alternative sites. LIXIL will never send messages requesting passwords, credit card numbers, or personal information. If you receive any unfamiliar or suspicious emails or messages, please do not click on any links or open any attachments, and delete them immediately.
