As a social business dedicated to bringing affordable water-saving toilets and handwashing solutions to customers who do not have access to running water or sewage systems, SATO builds sustainable sanitation markets working closely with local manufacturers, distributors, retailers and installers. Since inception SATO has reached 103 million lives in 60 countries and territories across Africa, Asia, and Central America. The business supports training local masons and plumbers, including women and youth, equipping them with the skills to construct and maintain sustainable sanitation systems where they are needed most.
